William (Bill) Dubanevich is now of counsel to The Fink Law Firm PC. He has a distinguished background of representing clients in New York and throughout the United States in individual, mass tort and class actions litigations. Bill believes in the importance of thoroughly addressing his clients needs and questions and in developing a collaborative relationship with them in order to assist him in taking the most aggressive stance possible advocating their case.
Before obtaining his law degree and Certificate in Environmental Law from Pace University School of Law, Bill Dubanevich formerly held the esteemed titles of:
- Director of Safety and Health for the New York State Building and Construction Trades’ Council, AFL-CIO where he developed occupational safety and health programs for over 310,000 unionized workers.
- Director of the Hudson Valley regional Office for the New York Committee on Occupational Safety and Health (NYCOSH)providing safety and health training and education to workers and developing Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA) compliance programs. As President of Hudson Environmental Services and an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Qualified Instructor Mr. Dubanevich performed environmental and workplace hazard assessments and developed compliance programs for general and construction industries.
Bill headed up of two of New York’s largest plaintiffs’ law firms’ environmental litigation departments and now with The Fink Law Firm PC, is a driving force in the firm’s commitment to environmental contamination and toxic tort litigation.
Bill has represented municipal water districts and private individuals throughout New York, New England and Florida in ground water contamination cases related to the release of petroleum products containing the additive Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (“MTBE”), creosote, arsenic and other hazardous chemicals. He has facilitated the recovery of tens of millions of dollars on behalf of plaintiffs damaged by environmental contamination.
Bill is most proud to have represented WTC rescue and recovery workers in the September 11th Victims Compensation Fund (VCF) where he obtained tens of millions of dollars for thousands who suffer from serious illness due to toxic exposure. After the VCF closed he continued to fight for WTC Heroes in the WTC Litigation and he currently represents WTC Heroes in the 911/Zadroga Act Compensation Fund.
